SepaFlash™ iLOK™ flash cartridges offer users convenience for manual assembly, allowing for a flexible sample loading method: solid load and direct liquid injection. The series is offered in three formats: iLOK™ flash cartridge pre-packed with UltraPure silica gel, iLOK™ SL cartridge which is pre-packed with 85% column volume of silica gel and iLOK™ empty solid load cartridge comes with screw cap, frits, disbursing unit, O-ring and end tips.

Configurations for solid loading
Solid sample loading have the technique to load samples to be purified onto a column, particularly in the case of low-solubility samples. On this occasion, iLOK™ flash cartridge is a very suitable choice.
The sample is dissolved in a suitable solvent and absorbed onto diatomaceous earth. After removal of the residual solvent, the adsorbent is put on top of partly filled cartridge or into an empty cartridge.
